I am here to help you make an informed decision when buying an electric guitar outfit. There are so many options out there and the tendency is to want to buy the best, most expensive equipment.
I remember wanting to buy a Cherry Red American made Fender Strat with a HiWatt head and speaker cabinet purely because Mr Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd used this equipment at the time. He was my hero and I wanted to play like him and have the same equipment as him.
Thank goodness I never bought the Gilmour Outfit as my style and choice of equipment is now completly different.
Electric Guitar Packages
When you are starting out and wanting to get an electric guitar it can be overwhelming when you look at all the equipment on the market. There are however a number of Electric Guitar Packages that can be very cost effective and give you everthing you need to begin with. After playing for some time you will develop your own style and will also get an idea as to what guitar and amplifier combinations work best for you.
Electric Guitar Packages will generally come with a guitar, an amplifier and some accessories. These will include plectrums, a strap, strings, a lead, a bag and perhaps an effects pedal or two.
